Trust Portal
The Trust Portal is a client-facing page that showcases your organization’s security posture in one place. It is a customer- and prospect-facing page that showcases your organization’s security and compliance posture - your frameworks, documents, and certifications - in one place.
You can access the Trust Portal by navigating to the Trust Centre from the left-hand sidebar in Complyance and selecting the Trust Portal tab.
All changes to your Trust Portal can be made directly from your Complyance environment, with access granted to assigned team members only.
Setting Up Your Trust Portal
Your Trust Portal is fully configurable, down to the URL you use.
Fields to review and update:
- Portal URL: Your Trust Portal has its own unique URL. This is typically set to your company name or abbreviation — you can update this to something that fits your branding, and copy the URL to share when you’re ready.
- Company Name
- Website
- Company Overview: A short company description that appears on the portal.
- Contact Email: The email address displayed on the portal for inbound queries.
- Company Logo: Upload your logo so it appears on the portal page.
To preview the portal before it goes live, click the View button. This shows the public-facing page exactly as visitors would see it. Until you make the portal visible, this preview is only accessible to your internal team — no one outside can see it or any changes you make.
Adding Content to Your Trust Portal
The Trust Portal has its own settings area, separate from your main Complyance settings. Content added here pulls through automatically to your portal page.
Content you can add:
- Frameworks: The compliance frameworks your organization is certified in (for example, SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
- Documents: Supporting documentation you want to share, such as policies, attestations, or reports.
- FAQs: Common questions that your team fields regularly.
- Updates: Company updates that are relevant to share (e.g. New certification, update to a policy, new pen test issued)
Trust Portal Visibility and Access
Visibility
- By default, your Trust Portal is not visible to anyone outside of the assigned team. Any changes you make while it is not visible are only seen by your internal team.
When you’re ready to share, toggle the visibility setting on. You can then copy the portal URL and share it with customers and prospects.
Access
When you upload a new document to your trust portal, you can apply additional access constraints so only users who have been granted access can view those documents.
- To manage access requests, navigate to the access tab in your trust portal to view all requests, user who have access, and users who have previously had access.
