Google Drive can be connected to the Complyance platform to automatically pull in evidence from specific files against certain controls. The evidence is automatically regenerated according to that control's frequency.
Configuration steps:
Step 1: Create a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) account if you don't already have one.
Step 2: Create a service account in your Google Cloud account. You can follow the instructions here to complete this step.
Step 3: Once the account is created, generate a key from that service account. Please follow these instructions to complete this step.
Step 4: Securely share the generated key with the Complyance team using our secure vault service (1Password).
Step 5: Finally, enable the Google Drive API by going to this link and clicking enable.
Once all these steps are complete, the Complyance team can now link files from your Google Drive to controls for automatic evidence generation.
