Required information
To setup the integration connector, the following information is required:
- Find the
Base URLof your Freshdesk environment - it’s the first part of the URL after logging into Freshdesk. Example:https://{company_name}.freshdesk.com - Create a new user or use an existing one to obtain the
API Tokenby following these instructions: https://support.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/215517-how-to-find-your-api-key

Create an agent

Navigate to Admin
- Navigate to Agents
- Click on New agent
- Fill in data

Minimum permissions
- All agents in Freshdesk have permission to view and list tickets based on their scope.
- We recommend setting the user’s ticket scope to
All ticketswhen creating or editing a user:
- Click Create agent
In Freshdesk, the API token inherits the same permissions as the user who generated it.
API Token
- Log in to your account
- Click on your profile picture on the top right and select Profile Settings.
- On the right pane, click on the View API key option and complete the captcha verification.
- Copy the API Key
- Provide the API Key to your Complyance CE contact person
Share access credentials
Provide the following details to your implementation lead:
- Base URL
- API Key
- API Token
