Users can report Manual Findings on controls. These are commonly used by GRC teams to log findings on Evidence uploaded - or by Internal Audit teams to report opportunities for improvement and non-conformities after an Internal Audit.
Reporting a Manual Finding on a Control

Navigate to the relevant program on the left-hand side navigation bar containing the control in question.
- Search for the control in question. If needed, use the search bar to search a key word on the control to locate the correct control.
- Click the Control Name to open the control details page

From here, click the three dots at the top right of the control and select ‘Add finding’

A box will open up - here is where you can report the finding
Select the Type (The type selected will determine the effect on the Status of the control. Hover your mouse over the ℹ️ symbol next to the word 'Type' to see the explanation)
Write the Finding Title and the Description
Once done, hit confirm.
Note: The status of the control can be found at the top of the control’s record
- Once you confirm, you will see a new tab appear. The Findings tab
- Click this tab to view your finding.
