Introduction
Once your risk register is set-up in Complyance, it is useful to understand how to personalize it to your needs.
This article will explain how to edit and update the classifications of the risk impact and likelihood levels, adjust the layout of your risk matrix (heat map), and manage your risk scoring in the Risk Level tab.
Classifications
To make any changes to your environment, you need to enter your settings. You’ll find the Settings Tab on the left-hand navigation bar of Complyance, just below Task Centre.
Once in Settings, navigate down to the Risk section and open Classifications. Here you can make any edits to the system classifications and update their descriptions.
To make changes, click on the small pencil on the right-hand side of the classification.
This will open the classification where you can update the name or the description.
To change the order of the classifications, which will adjust the order they appear in your risk matrix, hover just to the left-hand side of the classification name.
Here you will see 6 small dots appear, which allows you to move the levels around.
Risk Matrix
To change how the colours appear on your risk matrix, open the Matrix tab.
Here you will see both of your risk matrices. On the horizontal and vertical axes, you can see your risk levels. The order of these can be changed in the Classifications tab, as mentioned above.
To change the colour order of the matrix, hover over each matrix box and click to choose which severity level you would like.
Once you are happy with the changes, return to your Risk Dashboard to view the updates.
Risk Level Tab
Within the Risk Level tab, you can assign scores for Inherent Impact, Inherent Likelihood, Residual Impact, and Residual Likelihood.
These values automatically generate the Inherent Risk and Residual Risk scores based on the pre-configured Risk Matrix in your environment.
