Welcome to Complyance!
When you first log in, you’ll land on your Home Page, which serves as a central hub to view your organization’s compliance status at a glance. This guide will help you navigate the platform and introduce you to its key areas.
Home
The Home Page provides a snapshot of your organization's compliance posture. On the left-hand side, you’ll find the Navigation Bar, which allows you to move through different modules and sections of the platform.
Home Page Overview
Your Home Page layout may vary based on the modules your organization uses. Here’s a breakdown of what you might see:
If You Use the Controls Module
At the top of the page:
- Valid Controls (Left): Displays the total number of valid controls for your organization, with a pie chart showing completion.
- My Valid Controls (Middle): Highlights the valid controls where you’re the assigned owner.
- Alerts (Right): Lists any "Failing" or "At Risk" controls. Click this box to view details in the Alerts section.
Below, you’ll see:
- Program Charts: Pie charts showing the percentage of valid controls for each program.
- Compliance Health Over Time: A line graph tracking the number of valid controls over the past 24 hours, month, or year.
If You Use the Vendors Module
You’ll see:
- Vendor Summary: A chart categorizing your vendors as Pending, Accepted, Rejected, or Retired.
If You Use the Risks Module
You’ll find:
- Risk Heat Map: Visualize risks by Inherent or Residual risk levels.
- Radar Chart: Assess risk levels across different categories.
Additionally, you’ll see charts for Tasks, including:
- Task allocation by owner.
- Tasks specifically assigned to you.
Reports
The Reports section is located below the Home tab in the Navigation Bar. This is a powerful tool for creating custom views of tasks, controls, risks, vendors, or policies, tailored to your needs.
Using Reports
- Create a New Report: Click the purple New Report button in the top-right corner of the Reports page. Name your report and select the module (e.g., Tasks, Controls, Risks, Vendors, or Policies).
- Filter and Sort: After creating a report, use the Filter and Sort options at the top-left of the table to refine your results. Filters persist for future visits to the report.
- Export Reports: Click the Export .csv button to download the report for external use.
Example reports include:
- Controls: All "At Risk" controls.
- Vendors: Tier 4 vendors overview.
Task Center
The Task Center consolidates all tasks created within the platform, displaying their status and completion progress.
Creating a Task
- Click Add Task to open the Task Drawer.
- Fill out the Task Name, Description, Assignee, Due Date, and Owner.
- Assign the task last, so the assignee receives an email with the complete details.
Linking Tasks to Other Modules
Tasks can be linked to Controls, Risks, or Vendors:
- Click Link in the Task Drawer.
- Search for the relevant item by title and select it.
- Once linked, the reference will appear at the bottom of the Task Drawer. Clicking it will navigate you to the related item’s drawer.
Tasks also appear in the Tasks Tab of the linked item.
Managing Tasks
Mark tasks as complete by clicking Mark as Complete in the top-right of the Task Drawer.
Settings
The Settings section is where you can manage users, roles, custom fields, and risk matrices.
Accessing Settings
Your access depends on your role:
- View and edit user permissions.
- Configure custom fields for all modules.
- Customize risk matrices.
Personal Settings
To update your personal settings:
- Click your initials (circle icon) in the top-right corner.
- Select Account Settings to adjust notification preferences.
- Use toggles to enable/disable email or in-platform notifications.
